Japan's Miyakura chooses Arkema's Rilsan PA11 to produce multi-layer fuel pipes for automobiles

Sanoh (Sanoh) is a famous Japanese auto parts manufacturer. The company has developed and commercialized an innovative multi-layer fuel pipe production technology that can solve the volatilization problem of automobile fuel pipes.

This innovative multi-layer production technology can produce high barrier properties. High barrier properties are of great significance for reducing the external penetration of hydrocarbons (including gasoline and ethanol). Compared with the current multi-layer PA12/ETFE materials, the new technology is very attractive in terms of low permeability and cost.

The combination of innovative technology and Rilsan PA11/PPS for fuel barrier can produce conductive and non-conductive fuel pipes. These products are produced according to Japan's most demanding auto parts standards. Rilsan PA11 has excellent solvent resistance, low temperature impact resistance, pressure resistance and high temperature resistance.
